Situation

The Georgia Secretary of State agency is responsible for the administration of secure, accessible, and fair elections; registration of corporations; regulation of charities and securities; and oversight of professional license holders. The agency has implemented many e-government solutions while in office. The agency has also worked to communicate more efficiently with Georgia’s businesses, promote voter registration, cut bureaucratic red tape, reduce costs on Georgia taxpayers, and deter corporate identity theft.

Solution

ThreeWill designed, implemented, tested and documented the transition to a new SharePoint 2016 environment for over ten SharePoint-based applications.  We worked with other Microsoft partners and the agency to accomplish this project.  We were responsible for the managing the overall process and meeting the project constraints.

Commodities investment management organization managing properties across the United States.  Key corporate differentiator is a tight focus on reducing inefficiencies in management of all aspects of the property lifecycle.

Situation

The primary driver for maximizing investor returns depended upon efficient management of large numbers of documents for each property and the related complex set of stakeholders and business processes.  

Documents were being stored in multiple I/T infrastructure silos with no consistent formats or versioning controls and no efficient search and retrieval mechanism.  This situation impacted both consistency of operational business processes and the ability to execute strategic initiatives.

Solution

A multi-phase 3 year program to migrate all document management functions and related business processes to Office 365 and a SharePoint Online Content Management Portal with the following key features:

  • Simple unified hierarchy for managing multiple Portfolios containing multiple Properties.
  • Consistent metadata tagging and document upload user experience that provides support for both user-specified tag values as well as auto-populated values.
  • Provisioning engine for quickly creating portfolio and property sites with a consistent structure, navigation and metadata experience.
  • Custom Search Center with ability to refine documents based on customer-centric corporate taxonomy.

Multinational beverage corporation, and manufacturer, retailer, and marketer of nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups.

Situation

Salesforce Chatter is the official social solution and access to Salesforce Chatter across all web based platforms used at the company is desired. A couple of web based platforms used within the company have built unique integrations with Salesforce Chatter resulting in multiple code bases for maintenance and enhancements. Integrations for Salesforce Chatter are not available for additional platforms used at the company such as those built on Adobe Experience Manager and SharePoint.

Solution

A shared Javascript based client solution which can be used across all web based platforms:

  • Serves as an API tool for platform developers at the company to bring Salesforce Chatter integration to any platform
  • Hosted by Amazon AWS, authentication and access to the Chatter API is provided by an enterprise ESB
  • Includes installation and usage guides for users and developers
  • Provides for a Chatter group feed, allowing users to interact with Salesforce Chatter from the UI of any web based platform
  • Allows users to easily share the link to a page hosted in any web based platform within minimal number of clicks

Business Benefits

Users are able access Salesforce Chatter from any web based platform used at the company. A single code base is used for all web based Chatter integrations reducing costs for support, maintenance, and deployment of the solution.
