Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Primary Duties

  • Makes every effort possible to execute and complete project assignments within the constraints of time, scope, and budget for the project
    • Exercises creativity and resourcefulness in meeting client needs (including as needed prototypes and proof of concepts that best fit the client’s needs)
    • Seeks to gain an understanding of the client’s business processes
    • Provides feedback on processes or procedures as required to support unique content migration scenarios
    • Available for after-hours and weekend hours during active migrations as needed
  • Understands applies and supports the proper use of ThreeWill methodology standards
    • Follow ThreeWill project methodology and delivery process guidelines
    • Provides feedback on ThreeWill methodology standards to improve practices as needed
    • May be responsible for ensuring knowledge capture and dissemination for future use on ThreeWill projects to increase the quality and value of future engagements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Migrating content to Office 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)
    • Migrating content, including mailbox data, binary document content, web content, and other proprietary content formats from multiple source environments (DropBox, G-Suite, Box, File Shares, etc.)
    • Identifying and recommending solutions to content migration challenges
    • Executing scripts, configuring migration tools, monitoring, and reviewing migration logs.
    • Experience with migration tools targeting Office 365 workloads a plus – including but not limited to ShareGate, Metalogix, AvePoint, BitTitan,, or other migration tools

Required Skills/Knowledge

Experience with one or more of each of the following areas:

Programming / Markup Languages:  PowerShell scripting, Python, Bash / Shell scripting

Development Tools:  Visual Studio Code, Sublime, Atom, etc.

Products: SharePoint (2016 – 2019), SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online

Software Development Process: Scrum, Agile

Desired Skills/Knowledge

Experience with one or more of each of the following areas:

Programming / Markup Languages: C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Shell Scripting

Beneficial Certifications:  MCP, MCSD, MCSE, MCT

Non-Technical Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to work well in small teams 

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent and one to three years of relevant project experience is required.  Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
