Professional Summary

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for assisting the Vice President of Business Development with marketing-related activities. This includes managing our website, producing and publishing podcasts, and updating our social channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Publish blog posts on WordPress including adding/editing images from Shutterstock
  • Post-production and publishing of podcasts to Soundcloud/WordPress and transcripts on Rev.com
  • Update Hootsuite quarterly
  • Bio Updates for everyone on WordPress quarterly
  • Publish testimonials and success stories on WordPress
  • Respond to inquiries via social media outlets: Disqus, Twitter / Facebook / LinkedIn
  • Create and send a monthly newsletter for review
  • Participate in online chats daily on the website using SnapEngage
  • Respond to online forms daily (Contact Us / Trials /etc.)
  • Improve SEO scores on our website using Yoast
  • Help with live events by setting up/breaking down booths and answering basic questions
  • Help decide on/research marketing collateral
  • Help run webinars on GoToWebinar
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Support the execution of video creation with external partners.
  • When appropriate, responsible for working with outside contractors, interns, or internal associates to meet marketing goals.

Technology Skills/Knowledge

Primary Skills:

  • Excellent written, verbal, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Solid command of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office software packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
  • Commitment to Quality/Passion for Customer Service and Success.
  • Excellent people skills and strong work ethic.
  • A flexible approach that enables the individual to work effectively in a dynamic, evolving work environment.
  • Solid organizational and project management skills – Ability to multi-task and balance multiple work demands on a daily basis and deliver time-sensitive projects to deadlines.

Other Beneficial Skills/ Certifications:

  • Some experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Audition, and Premiere Pro).
  • Knowledge of marketing tools/platforms like WordPress, Hootsuite, Disqus, SnapEngage, Yoast, and GoToWebinar is beneficial (but not required).

This job has no immediate personnel supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business discipline. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the general public.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds maximum, at times.
  • Be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Position may require some travel, up to 10%, including overnight stays and quarterly in-person team events.
